Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades

Upgrades can boost the power of a piece of gear and at times even add additional features. The value of these upgrade is determined by the levels of gear, their requirements, and how many random augmentations are applied.

For instance, the premium shield for racial discrimination Razortail is usually upgraded to improve its lightning absorb function in PvP or to provide additional defenses on missile based builds in PvM. This makes it more tradeable over the original version that is not upgraded.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens allow you to reroll a purchased item, such as an armor, weapon, or ring. This swaps the current item for one of the same type and comes with an additional set of bonuses. Reroll tokens can be a cost-effective way to upgrade gear. However, they don't retain the level of the original item and any resources that are wasted won't be compensated for.

Survivors may acquire reroll tokens via a variety of methods such as the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be located in crates and chests or bought at the local store at a cost of 150k each. Reroll tokens can be used to change an attribute of the equipment for example, increasing its damage or granting it a brand new stat.

Players can roll equipment with three attributes, physical power, spell power and health. Physical power upgrades boost the damage done by weapons and melee attacks and spell power improves rings and mage attacks. Health upgrades give the player an additional level of health.

There are three types of reroll tokens: upgrade, rare and legendary. Each upgrade elevates an item to a higher quality and requires a higher-quality reroll token order to make it. Upgrades require a standard item.  enhance equipment  require items that are either exclusive or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.

Unlike other special tokens and markers that are placed on action spaces the reroll marker stays on the space until the next Success result is rerolled. This allows you to save upgrades.

Blueprints appear as envelopes at the start of each Preparation Phase and are opened by grabbing them using Interact. When they are opened, they will display a description and icon for the Appliance or Ingredient. The restaurant's store will swap blueprints for a new appliance or ingredient for a small amount.

During a run, blueprints can be transferred between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool due to selected Franchise Cards. This alters the blueprints that the restaurant's shop sells for rerolls and which are available in the non-droppable Pool.

Growthstones

Weapons such as armor, weapons, and other accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These are special stones that boost the level of an item by increasing its stats or attributes. These items can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the major towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell these stones for a cost. Moreover, players can obtain these stones by completing daily contracts.

To upgrade equipment to upgrade gear, players must first locate the item then click the "level up button". This will show a list of the item's level, and what it will be after being leveled-up. It will also show the amount of Growth Stones needed to accomplish this. The amount of Growth Stones needed to upgrade a piece depends on its rarity. Rare (blue) rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor only requires one Growth Stone.

After deciding what to upgrade, players must then select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to utilize and pay the appropriate cost. After the player has met the requirements, they can select the upgrade option and apply the Growth Stones. The item will be upgraded in level by a certain percentage. Based on the rarity of the item and rarity, the upgrade process could take anywhere from seconds to minutes.

The upgrade process is risk-free and will not impact the longevity of the item. It's a great way for players who wish to gain an advantage in combat but don't want burden their wallets. Moreover players can transfer experience and progress of an upgraded item to a new one by clicking on the "transfer" tab.

The process of getting Growth Stones in Throne and Liberty is a daunting task for novice players. There are many ways to acquire the stones. You can sign contracts and purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants, defeat Abyssal Contracts, get them from Equipment Stone Seal Book or collect them from reward chests during the Ancient Arena Season. Players can also break down the higher-level Growth Stones into multiple lower-level stones.

Leveling

Leveling is an optional feature that lets players increase the base stats of weapons armor, helms, and trinkets. The Upgrade Station lets you combine an item with upgrade materials, and also pay a cost in Happy Tickets or Happy Stars. The upgrade materials will be used up and the item will gain a higher level. This process can be repeated until the highest level for an item has been attained.


Items with upgraded base stats will display an icon of blue in their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments, cannot be applied to more than one item at the same time. Furthermore each upgrade component will require a certain amount of items to be added and an initial level for the equipment.

The Upgrade Station has two slots: the left is where players can add a piece of equipment to be upgraded, while the right shows a preview of what the equipment will appear like when it reaches its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow once a player has sufficient materials will start the upgrading process.

A piece of equipment may be upgraded up to five times. Each time it is upgraded the stats of the base item will be increased by an amount of. The highest level for an item is 19.

Once an item reaches its maximum level that it can no longer have the option to upgrade. Likewise, once a piece of gear reaches an upgrade track (e.g. Veteran or Explorer) upgrades for that track will have a discount.

Upgrade components are a kind of equipment that can be slotted into armor, weapons trinkets, trinkets, or gathering tools to offer an added bonus or effect while the equipment is being used. They can be purchased from vendors, looted, acquired through questing, or traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced by new ones, but doing so could destroy the previous upgrade, with the exception of for glyphs which can be removed and replaced at will.

Requirements

The upgrades to items allow players the ability to boost certain stats of armor and weapons that they currently have equipped. The requirements to upgrade an item will vary based on the type of item however, generally you'll require Dilithium and a number of Upgrade Tokens (various options are available).

Item upgrade components can be slotted into equipment set pieces and weapons for extra effects or a higher level of the item. These upgrades can be gotten through a variety of sources in the game, including through crafting, purchased from the Trading Post or karma vendors, looted from bosses and raids, or dropped from dungeons. Once an upgrade component has been placed in an item it isn't able to be removed or changed without restriction, however, glyphs placed in gathering tools can be swapped out without restriction.

Upgrades to an item can increase its Mark Level and/or Rarity. In addition, certain upgrade components come with additional modifiers that can enhance the stats of the item.

The helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" For example, increases base defense and provides an additional 20 percent chance to block. Additionally the dps enhancement "Wildfire" boosts weapon damage.

Some items benefit from being upgraded not so much for their improved stats, but more for the fact that it allows players to get the most value from a perfect roll on the item. For instance, a flawlessly rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly sought-after in the melee PvP community and can be worth 20-50x more than the non-upp'd version.

The game will show you the requirements once you choose the upgrade component that goes into the item. This includes the type of item (either Weapon or Armor), the level of the item and the upgrade Token required, as well as the amount of progress required to complete the upgrade.

The game will place an item in your inventory after you've fulfilled the requirements for an upgrade. The progress bar will then change to show you how close you are to completing the upgrade. You can also check the status of an upgrade by going to any NPC that upgrades items.
